Stuck in a verification loop using Microsoft Authenticator

Hello,

I seem to be stuck in a verification loop when using the Authenticator App.

The App asks me to log in to my account and then asks me to enter the Verification Code from the Authenticator App- which is where I am currently trying to log in from. The only other verification options us the Authenticator App as well so I can't use the 2FA for my account.

I also can't add another Authentication option since doing so requires me to verify using the Authenticator App- which I can't do because I'm not signed in.

Every bit of help is greatly appreciated.

    Have the same issue. It seems like bag in Microsoft Authenticator app.

    The loop is that the app asking for a code that only the app can give or the app is produce a number that can be verified only by the app itself.

    Microsoft! We need a solution fast.
