I am getting an error when deploying a FD and CDN profile.

The number of profiles created exceeds quota. Please contact support to increase quota. (Code: BadRequest)

You will need to contact Azure support to increase the quota. You can open a support request by providing the subscription IDs for which the quota limit needs to be increased, the resource type for the quota increase (in this case, it would be CDN profiles), and the requested quota limit.

Hi Abiola,

It is asking me to pay $29 to raise the ticket. My subscription is pay-as-go.

Is there a way to raise a ticket without paying?

The basic subscription doesn't allow the raising of a support case.

May I ask if this is a new subscription?

As per the Azure CDN subscription offers and bandwidth throttling document,

For Pay-as-you-go subscriptions, bandwidth for Azure CDN from Microsoft and Edgio gets throttled until the subscription is determined to be in good standing and has a sufficient payment history. The process for determining the subscription status and having throttling removed happens automatically after the first payment has been received. If you have made a payment and throttling hasn't been removed, you can request to do so by contacting support.

Can you please confirm if the above conditions are met?

If not, may I ask how many CDN/AFD Profiles exist as of now?

Hi Kapil.

I have made the payment last week. To raise a support case with MS, it is asking me to pay $29/month or post it in the community forum, which I have done.

I don't know how to raise a support ticket without paying the amount.

Thanks for the info.

I take it that this is a new account and there are no CDNs/AFDs currently present in this subscription.

Ideally, as per the doc, after the first billing any throttling should be removed - Yours seems to be an isolated issue.
