Correct Windows Server 2022 Defender Firewall Settings for AVG Internet Security Business Edition

I use the "AVG Internet Security Business Edition" software on my Windows Server 2022. Every time I turn on the "Hacker Protection" module within the AVG program, my Internet on my Windows Server 2022 and connected workstations no longer works. I've spoken to AVG regarding this, and unfortunately the AVG program does not have any enhanced firewall settings. The AVG IT person told me that the firewall settings need to be made in Microsoft to allow the internet on my Windows Server to keep working. Does anyone know what type of setting I need to create in the Windows Defender firewall to correct this problem? Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

General speaking there's need to creat an inbound rule on the Windows firewall based on specific need.

1.Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Defender Firewall -> Create a new inbound rule.

2.You can consult AVG support team and confirm which protocol and ports should be allowed on the server.

3.Once it's determined please select the profile and name the rule to get it finished.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,
