Hi stc_admin,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, thank you for posting your query here!
To ensure a smooth migration from Box to Azure Blob Storage, it’s important to understand the storage limits of your Azure free account and how to monitor your storage usage.
Azure Free Account Limits
With an Azure free account, you get:
- 5 GB of locally redundant storage (LRS) for Blob Storage
Given that you need 15TB of space, the free tier will not be sufficient. You will need to upgrade to a paid plan to accommodate your data.
Checking Available Storage
To check the available storage in your Azure Storage Account:
- Azure Portal: Navigate to your storage account in the Azure portal. Under the “Overview” section, you can see the used and available storage.
- Azure Storage Explorer: This tool allows you to manage your storage account and view the available space.
Upgrading Your Account
To ensure you have enough space for your 15TB migration, you will need to upgrade your Azure subscription:
Upgrade to Pay-As-You-Go: This will remove the storage limits and allow you to pay for what you use. You can purchase additional storage as needed.
