Hello,

When attempting to create a new Function App using the EP1 SKU within a new subscription in the East US region, I encountered the following error:

SubscriptionIsOverQuotaForSku "This region has a quota of 0 instances for your subscription. Please try selecting a different region or SKU."

We have already increased quotas for multiple hardware series without success, as it appears that Function App SKUs are managed differently. Other subscriptions in the same region can create these types of resources without any issues.

I can create the function app in other regions (e.g. East US 2), but I need to use East US to integrate with my client's network configuration.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am unable to contact support or create a technical support ticket due to limitations within the provided subscription.

If you can create the function in other regions then there's the issue. You can wait and try again later or you can try changing the function app plan and see if it helps you or upgrade your subscription

    See: https://zcusa.951200.xyz/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/troubleshooting/error-resource-quota?source=recommendations&tabs=azure-cli

If you want to raise the limit or quota above the default limit, open an online customer support request at no charge.

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you
