Is there a way to import Azure AD users and their passwords to a new buildt Windows Server 2022, without any conflict with the password, how can this be done with constant password sync. Thanks.

    @Ashok Kumar

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    As I understand you want to export users from Azure AD and import them to Windows server 2022.

    Exporting users from Azure AD and importing them to Windows server 2022 is possible. However, you can exporting passwords of user accounts from Azure AD is not possible.

    Instead, you can follow below plan to complete your task,

    • You can export user account and import them to On-premises server 2022.
    • Post that you can set up Entra Connect in your on-premises environment and then sync those users back to Azure AD to that these users will get soft matched and becomes one identity.
    • Once the account are linked properly, you can configure password sync in Entra connect and sync new password of users from on-premises to Entra ID.

    let me know if you have any further questions on this.
