Teams keeps saying "Unable to fetch account"

I am trying to use Teams and it keeps saying "Unable to fetch account". I've tried using other accounts and even creating a new accounts but it continuously says "Unable to fetch account". I've tried this on both my phone and my laptop and nothing helps. VERY frustrating.

    According to our research, there are a few possible solutions that you can try:

    • If you’re using the Teams desktop or mobile app, try using the web version: https://teams.microsoft.com/.
    • Uninstall Teams from your device, then reinstall it.
    • If you’re using a VPN to access Teams, turn it off and back on.
    • Go to your Microsoft Account page, and navigate to Account info. That’s the section indicating alias and login preferences. Simply delete your mobile number as a means of login and check if the issue persists.
