When connecting to my target SQL instance, on the same server as SSMA, it gives me a warning that SQL Server Agent isn't running and must be up. However, it is up and running.
What is it looking for, and how do I get it to recognize the actual status?

Hi, Is there any solution to this issue in SSMA?
The issue was the ID SSMA was running as didn't have permissions to see the DB on the other server. I started SSMA using RunAs and was able to see the proper status.
