Hello,

I am trying to install Network Virtualization into my Hyper-V Windows Server 2025 and always get the same error. I need to install this to add Cluster to SCVMM, which always asks for installation. When I try to add Hyper Cluster, an error on the nodes: Error (20594)

The Windows feature NetworkVirtualization could not be enabled on the computer 192.168.1.102 because of the following error: Unknown error (0x800f0922)

Recommended Action

Refer to Windows documentation for how to fix feature installation issues.

The some error on all 3 nodes in the Cluster.

I have try with add roles/featurs, I have tried with Powershell and always get the same error. Without I can't add nodes to SCVMM(also version 2025). All Windows Server 2025 has all updates, SCVMM is the latest version. Has anyone had similar issues? Any fix for this?

Thank You

LP

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

To further troubleshoot this issue, please kindly try below steps:

    1. Run SFC tool to check if there's any corrupted system files by CMD command:

    sfc /scannow

2.Ensure that the .NET Framework 3.5 is installed, which is required for some Windows features:

3.Check that if WSUS server is configured to use TLS 1.2.

4.Check event viewer and see if there's any insight in Windows Logs > Application.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,

    Jill Zhou

    Thank you for your reply.

1.Run SFC tool to check if there's any corrupted system files by CMD command:

    *sfc /scannow
    *
It has been done, and also a /RestoreHealth to try to fix the issue.

2.Ensure that the .NET Framework 3.5 is installed, which is required for some Windows features:

    Yes it is.

3.Check that if WSUS server is configured to use TLS 1.2.

Not relevant since I don't have this.

4.Check event viewer and see if there's any insight in Windows Logs > Application.

I have done this, but no specific information is provided.

    Thank You
