Azure Kubernetes Services Backup pricing

Hi,

I want to understand the Azure Kubernetes backup pricing structure. From the documentation I understood that the AKS backup will cost $12 per namespace for a cluster on a per month basis. But is it equivalent to the consumption model and the price will vary if the backup is not retained for a month.
I would like to understand if i configure a backup on 1st of any month and then stop and delete the backup by 10th, will I still be charged with $12 per namespace or will it be charged for the 10 days only.
On the pricing calculator page there is no option to select number of days to retain.

    The pricing is not prorated based on the number of days a backup is retained within the month. For example, if you create a backup on the 1st of the month and delete it by the 10th, you will still be charged the full $12 per namespace for that month.
