Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

The user was created as a normal user and not as a guest user for testing.

However when we try chatting with the user on the Teams Web Browser it works perfectly well but when we chat with the user on the Teams Desktop app we get the error message that says: “We Recommend Switching chat where you’ll have all your conversation with CloudVoid in one place”.

The user is not a guest user but on our chat with the user on the Teams Mobile App we see a notification that says  “ This is CloudVoid guest account. For a better chat experience, continue your conversation in Cloudvoid org account”

In Summary:

  • Desktop Teams (UK tenant) can't chat to contacts (screen shot 3) but can chat via shared channel
  • Web Teams (UK tenant) can chat to contacts via chat and shared channel
  • Desktop and Web Teams (US tenant) can chat to contacts via chat and shared channel
  • Desktop and Web Teams (US and UK tenant) can't see users (external member) presence inside shared channel
  • Desktop and Web Teams (US and UK tenant)  can see users (external member) presence in chat..
