MSFT Hololens 2 usages/applications

I love to buy a MSFT HL2 (Hololens 2) if I can tether my devices, for example my laptop's stock trading window/applications to monitor (and take actions if needed) while I am in my greenhouse attending to the seedlings or in my orchard attending fruit trees!!! I am retired and I like to do my hobbies and keep an eye on the world and market at the same time!!! Can I do this with HL2 as is or with minor subscription fees??? If this is tagged wrong or asking wrong place, please forward it to right place. Thanks.

ps. Can the above be accomplished by a non-techie? I am not a developer/programmer but a computer savvy.
