What can AI assistant do in the Earnings workspace?

Partner Center AI assistant (preview) can answer your questions about the Earnings workspace. AI assistant can help you with policy questions, frequently asked questions, and reconciliation and data insights.

  • Policy: Get answers to any policy question pertaining to Microsoft commerce incentives (MCI), Enterprise, and Service Provider License Agreement Reseller (SPLAR) programs.
  • Frequently asked questions: Get answers to the most frequently asked questions on using the Earnings workspace, incentives basics, attribute definitions for the data shown on the Earnings pages, and downloads and any by-design data scenarios.
  • Reconciliation and data insights: Get help with basic earnings reconciliation, payment breakdown to understand the claims, customers, and lever associated with a payment ID. AI assistant also helps you understand areas needing attention versus celebration in terms of earning trends. Get flexible earning insights or earnings trends by key attributes from the Earnings API like country/region, enrollment ID, program, engagement, lever, earning type, solution area, product, workload, partner role, partner association, customer, reseller, subscription ID, invoice, agreement number, reason code, payment status, claim ID, and payment ID.

Sample prompts

Here are a few examples of the kinds of prompts you can use in the Earnings workspace. Modify these prompts based on your scenarios, or try other prompts to get different kinds of information.

Note

Be precise with your ask and specify keywords (such as program, customer, or invoice) on in the prompt for AI assistant to be able to accurately provide results pertaining to earnings. When specifying an actual value like payment ID or engagement name, try to be precise and put in the same value.

  • I see the payment ID in the Payment Summary section, but when I try to view or download the corresponding earnings, all earning details are blank, or transactional details like customer name or subscription ID are missing.
