Details

An error occurred as the cloud type (Public/US Gov) of the appliance 'vmwappl01'- does not match the one in the Azure Migrate project key.

Recommendation

  1. Ensure that you have downloaded the appliance of the correct cloud type. 2. Go to the portal (Public/US Gov) and from the Server Assessment> Discover> Manage existing appliances page, copy the correct key for the appliance,paste it in the appliance configuration manager and re-try the registration.
