I'm currently managing a deployment to around a 1000 or so android devices within my organization. A large majority of these are Samsung devices. I've built the profiles and have always selected Automatic software updates. I don't want my users to have to interact or initiate these updates. However I've noticed that when ever I sign out of Microsoft's managed home screen or kiosk mode devices They are always flooded with updates. It seems like they are not checking for or receiving updates as they are being pushed out by the OEM's. Is there any ways that I can configure these profiles to auto update? I've seen mentioned of using samsungs Knox/ E-Futo Program to ensure devices are updating but buying another solution to manage these devices is not in the cards for my organization at this time and I would like to get things working smoothly. thank you for your time

@Ethan Metcalf, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

From your description, I know you have deployed auto update profile on kiosk Android device but failed to auto-update.

Based on my research, Kiosk deactivates the system apps responsible for updates, you need to approve the packages as android system apps in order to have the O.S. updated and here are two example apps you can add

    com.sec.android.soagent

    com.wssyncmldm

Or you can try to add another one.

    com.google.android.configupdater

    Non-official, just for reference.

    Hope it will help.
