Hello
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
- Ensure that all PCs are set to the same workgroup name.
You can check and change the workgroup name by going to Control Panel > System and Security > System, then clicking on Change settings under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings. In the System Properties window, go to the Computer Name tab and click Change.
- Make sure that network discovery is enabled on all PCs.
Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change advanced sharing settings and turn on Network discovery and File and printer
- Ensure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled.
Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click your network connection, select Properties, then click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties. In the Advanced settings, go to the WINS tab and select Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
- Check that the firewall settings are not blocking network discovery and file sharing.
You can do this by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall and ensuring that File and Printer Sharing and Network Discovery are allowed.
- Ensure that the network profile is set to Private on all PCs.
This can be done by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Status and clicking on Change connection properties. Set the network profile to Private.
- Restart Network Services:
• Sometimes, restarting network services can help. Open Services (type services.msc in the Run dialog), and restart the following services:
• Function Discovery Provider Host
• Function Discovery Resource Publication
• SSDP Discovery
• UPnP Device Host
I hope the information above is helpful.
