Vectors and AoAi assitants generated & user uploaded files

To ensure that your vector store is ready before creating runs, it’s important to verify that all files in the vector_store are fully processed. This ensures that the data is searchable. You can check the vector store’s readiness by using the polling helpers available in the SDKs or by manually polling the vector_store object to confirm its status is marked as completed.

As a fallback, if the vector store still contains files being processed, there is a 60-second maximum wait in the run object. This ensures that any files uploaded in the thread are fully searchable before the run proceeds. However, note that this fallback does not apply to the assistant’s vector store.
