Logic App connections to Teams / SharePoint expire time

Hello,

I am wondering what is the default expiration time for Teams/SharePoint connections in a Logic App. Recently, both connections expired 54 days after the last reauth happened because of the connections expiring. This didn't use to happen unless a Microsoft account was deactivated or deleted.

Thank you!!!

    @Lancaster, Christian ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
    Thanks for reaching out your query.
    The reason your Teams and SharePoint connections expired after 54 days is due to how the system manages authentication tokens. These tokens need to be refreshed periodically, and if the refresh token expires, the connection needs to be reauthenticated.

    Recently, Microsoft may have updated their security settings, which is why this is happening more often now.
    Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.

    Hi @Lancaster, Christian

    The default expiration time for Microsoft Teams and SharePoint connections is usually determined by your organization's security policies and settings.

    Recent changes may be due to your organization's security policies or updates from Microsoft. To avoid connection expiration, you can:

    • Revalidate regularly: Make sure you revalidate before your connection is about to expire.
    • Check your organization's security policies: Contact your organization's IT department to find out if there are new security policies that affect the expiration time of your connection.
    • Use backup authentication methods: Set up backup authentication methods so that you can still authenticate if your primary method fails.
