As you are accessing the SFTP via an On Premises gateway, it is the IP of the server on which the gateway is installed that you would need to whitelist in the SFTP server.
Need to whitelist Azure Fabric SFTP connection using on prem data gateway on the destination external company SFTP server
We are attempting to setup a connection within Fabric to an external SFTP server.
The SFTP connection would be created using an on prem data gateway
This company requires a whitelist top allow the connection.
What is the most secure way of providing them an IP/CIDR on their side to allow the connection from fabric?
Is it a matter of giving them the Oon prem data gateway IP? I would rather not give them huge MS fabric CIDR ranges if possible.
Thoughts or suggestion are welcome.
