Why are our bulk enrolled devices not converting to Enterprise from Windows Pro

We bulk enroll our shared devices and lab computers. They are not converting to enterprise in Intune once they are enrolled. Our staff devices convert to enterprise once enrolled, we give them to staff out of the box. I have created a policy to convert the windows pro devices to enterprise or education due to some policies not working properly with pro.

Anyone know what we can do to have the bulk enrolled devices to automatically convert to enterprise once they are enrolled? I am using up MAK keys.

Thanks

@Allan, Robyne Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, could you please tell us how did you create a policy to convert the windows pro devices to enterprise or education?

Based on my understanding, there is no method to convert the windows pro devices to enterprise or education during enrollment.

    Thanks for your understanding.

Create the policy in Intune go into:

Devices | Enrollment | Windows Autopilot Deployment Profiles (create the new policy)

    User's image

Then it is the same as your autopilot enrollment policy.

@Allan, Robyne Thanks for your update.

As I answered the first time, there is no method to convert the windows pro devices to enterprise or education during enrollment.

Based on my research, you can configure a profile to update Windows Pro to Windows Enterprise. Please refer to the following link:

    Hope it will help.
