Layout automation with Copilot -

Hello,

I have seen tutorials that allow you to modify the layout of a Powerpoint document with Copilot, for example by indicating to change the font of the titles...

I tried but Copilot says it can't do that.

I saw in other later tutorials that they could not replicate this operation again. Was it a Copilot update that removed this feature?

Anyway, I'm presenting my problem to see if there are other ways to solve it :

I was sent some information that I have to lay out on Powerpoint. I laid out some of this information on a double page, but there is still a lot left and I would like Copilot to use this layout on the following pages with the remaining information. In particular, I would like Copilot to identify the types of information and associate the correct typography, the correct typography size, the correct letter spacing, etc. with each corresponding piece of text.

Example:

All "names of people" -> in Arial, 10 pt, letter spacing 1.5...
All "job titles" -> in Century Gothic, 8 pt, letter spacing 1...
All "ages" -> in Century Gothic, 6 pt, letter spacing 1...

I would also like Copilot to associate the correct boxes with each piece of information, etc. (e.g.: job titles surrounded by a black outline of 0.75pt...)

I prefer not to use slide masters.

Best regards,

I see that you want to keep a consistent layout for your PowerPoint presentation without using slide masters.

    1. Names of People: Use Arial, 10 pt, with letter spacing of 1.5.
    2. Job Titles: Use Century Gothic, 8 pt, with letter spacing of 1, and surround them with a black outline of 0.75 pt.
    3. Ages: Use Century Gothic, 6 pt, with letter spacing of 1.

To apply this layout to the remaining information, you can manually format each piece of text according to these specifications.

    1. Select the Text: Highlight the text you want to format.
    2. Change the Font and Size: Go to the Home tab, select the font (Arial or Century Gothic), and set the font size (10 pt, 8 pt, or 6 pt).
    3. Adjust Letter Spacing: Click on the Font dialog box launcher (small arrow in the bottom-right corner of the Font group), go to the Advanced tab, and set the letter spacing.
    4. Add Outline to Job Titles: Select the text box containing the job title, go to the Format tab, click on Shape Outline, and set the outline color and weight (0.75 pt).

By following these steps, you can ensure that each piece of information is formatted correctly and consistently across all slides.
