I’ve encountered similar issues before and would be happy to guide you through the steps I took to resolve them.
If your pre-provisioning fails, here’s a quick solution:
- First, check if the device is listed in Intune. If it is, go ahead and delete it from there.
- If you’re using a customized Windows 11 image for re-imaging that includes a provisioning profile, you’ll also need to remove the device from the AutoPilot list.
- You can do this by visiting: Intune AutoPilot Devices
- Delete the device from this section to allow it to register afresh with the provisioning profile included in your re-imaging OS.
- You can do this by visiting: Intune AutoPilot Devices
Once the above steps are complete, you should be able to enroll the device without any issues. After enrollment, the device will appear in both the Intune and AutoPilot sections.
