    Your understanding is generally correct:

    • Fundamentals: These certifications provide a foundational understanding of core Azure concepts and technologies. They are typically entry-level and suitable for individuals new to cloud computing or those seeking a general overview of Azure.
    • Associate: These certifications demonstrate a solid understanding of specific Azure roles and responsibilities. They typically require a deeper knowledge of specific Azure services and technologies.
    • Expert: These certifications signify advanced expertise and in-depth knowledge across multiple Azure domains. They often require a combination of Associate-level certifications and significant hands-on experience.
    • Specialty: These certifications focus on specialized areas within Azure, such as AI, data science, or security. They require in-depth knowledge and expertise in a particular domain.

    In summary:

    • Fundamentals: Elementary/Introductory
    • Associate: Intermediate
    • Expert: Advanced
    • Specialty: Highest level of specialization

Note: This is a general interpretation. The specific difficulty and depth of knowledge required can vary within each certification level depending on the specific exam and its objectives.
