Visio auto-resize text in a group I created?

I'm new to Visio.

I created a simple object (electrical symbol) with line segments and a little text. I then created a group and that seemed to work fine...I can move it around, etc. But I need to have all the objects in the group re-size when I shrink or expand the new group. The text does not want to cooperate. See attached pics of what happens when I grab a corner and shrink the new group. How do I get the proportions to remain consistent when I re-size?

This works just fine when I use an object from the Visio library.

Thanks.
