Azure New Subscription, We’re unable to validate your phone number (Ukraine)

Hi,

When I attempt to set up a new Azure subscription, I always fail at phone number validation. This is the first subscription to be created in the account, phone numbers are Ukrainian.

I tried several numbers, text and call options, all get the same response. I tried setting up a European virtual number only to learn that MS refuses VOIP numbers. Money down the drain.

The issue is pretty much the same one as reported here.

However, I find that these days there's practically no way to register a support ticket. I can not create a billing/support ticket in Azure portal before I create a subscription. And support phone numbers are now handled by completely useless AI bots.

Is phone validation a known issue? Is there any way to make it work? Or any way to contact actual support instead of robots redirecting to KB articles?
