Accessing Outlook and Hotmail from other applications

I have a Hotmail account and an Outlook account.

I normally use my app on my smartphone, or my Outlook on my PC.

However, I also need to configure Thunderbird Portable and a small app that simply checks for emails in my various mailboxes.

Thunderbird and this app reside on a USB stick that I carry with me when I have to work on PCs that aren't mine and where I don't want to authorize notifications.

I used the IMAP server outlook.office365.com and port 993, but evidently they are not enough.

Maybe there is some option to activate in my account, but which one?
