We have one Legacy Application hosted on Windows 2012 R2 Operating system in On-Prem (VMWare) and we want to move this On-PREM VM to Azure but we don't want to upgrade OS to Windows 2016 or 2019 as our legacy application only support Windows 2012 R2 only. Does Azure Migrate tool support?

After this date, these products will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates. If you cannot upgrade to the next version, you will need to use Extended Security Updates (ESUs) for up to three years. ESUs are available for free in Azure or need to be purchased for on-premises deployments. Microsoft has guidance for both cloud and on-premises solutions. Go here to learn more.

    @Arjun Vyavahare ,

    As per MS article (https://docs.azure.cn/en-us/migrate/concepts-assessment-calculation), it looks like migration discovery shows that this OS is ready to move to azure. you may get more visibility pnce you have the discovery project created.

    If azure migrate is not supported, you still can move this machine by converting vmdk into vhd (looks for tools which covert. there may be free or paid tools). after conversion upload the vhd into azure using azure storage explorer and then create VM.

    OS support:

    The machine windows 2012 would run without any issues in azure.. And I dont think you would receive patches(azure update manager may not supported, but manually patching done if needed).
