    Hi @Amakali, Sakeus,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Based on your description, the error message "451 4.4.62 Mail sent to wrong Office 365 region. ATTR35" means that the email was sent to the wrong Office 365 region. This usually happens when mail delivery attempts to use an MX record or smart host, and the destination value for Microsoft 365 is incorrect.

To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:

    1. Make sure that the smart host value in the send connector does not use mail.messaging.microsoft.com, mail.global.frontbridge.com, or Microsoft 365 IP addresses. If you use a server or device to route mail directly to or through Microsoft 365, verify that the smart host value does not use the above addresses.
    2. Use an initial domain in the format of <GUID>.onmicrosoft.com as a smart host. This domain is unique to your organization and can be found under Settings -> Domains in the Microsoft 365 admin center or under Mail flow -> Accepted domains in the Exchange admin center (EAC).
    3. If your server or device sends mail outside your organization without a properly configured Microsoft 365 inbound connector, you need to configure additional settings, as described in Option 3 of How to set up a multifunction device or application to send email using Microsoft 365.

Please feel free to contact me for any updates. And if this helps, don't forget to mark it as an answer.

    Best,

    Jake Zhang
