Hi Team,

Changes to manifest file do not apply during testing of Outlook Web Add-in project using Visual Studio.

Sometimes the changes to the manifest is not visible at all and sometimes the changes to the manifest is visible after almost 4 hours. I tried clearing the cache for the outlook web and windows version with no luck.

Please suggest.

Thanks.

    Hi @Sunil Jain ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Looks like your case is more related to add-in development, please kindly understand that the Outlook tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client. Based on my research, i found an thread mentioned that:

To update an add-in already published to Microsoft AppSource to point to a new Source location, you will need to edit your manifest to point to the new location and reupload your manifest in your SellerDashboard listing. (Don't forget to increment the version number!) Once you have uploaded your new manifest, you should submit your update to validation and the team will review the update. If approved the updated version of your add-in will automatically be psuhed to existing users.

More information: How to update existing office addin?

(Note: Since the web site is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.)

Hope the above help, if it doesn't help, i will add "Office Development" tag to better resolve your issue.
