How do I access a file from one note that has a red minus sign

Did the file is saved in OneDrive?

How did you open the file? From OneNote or from folder?

1. Sign in and out: Try signing out of your OneNote account and then signing back in. This can sometimes refresh the connection and resolve syncing problems.
2. Check OneDrive: If your OneNote files are stored in OneDrive, ensure that OneDrive is running and syncing properly. You can also try accessing the file directly from OneDrive to see if it opens there.
3. Reset OneNote: Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, find OneNote, select “Advanced Options” and reset it.
