@eshman, Thanks for posting in Q&A. For the issue, it seems to be that the Entra group not showing when we share Planner. As Intune support, I am not familiar with it.
After researching, i find it can be caused by some reasons as below. You can read it as a reference:
1, It seems the group type needs to be Microsoft 365. Please confirm if we create the group with this type.
2, Although you've already waited for hours, sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for all services to sync properly.
However, if the issue still persists, you can submit on Microsoft 365 forum to see if we can get more help.
