Azure Log Analytics or SQL Profiler for AAS?

Thanks for the ask and also for using this forum .

It will great if you can eloborate more on what is the problem you are trying to solve . SQL profiler is more on the realtime troubleshooting aspect of things . Log analytics also helps on capture key performance metrics , but it also helps you create reports and alerts on the data .

We would like to analyze:

1. Did the partition processing run successfully, or did it crash?
2. If the partition processing did run successfully, did the correct number of rows get processed (inserted)?
3. If the partition processing ran successfully and inserted the correct number of rows, how long did it take?

Right now, we are in the dev and test phase, so we want to see it in real time. But later, we want to be able to automate the monitoring.

Also, we are using Logic Apps to process the AAS partitions.
