Testing a Dual-protocol share.. able to map the cifs share part on windows and add /modify folder and files. On linux side, able to mount the share but unable to access the share directory after mounting.
share directoy have 777 permissions. i tried accessing the share using root account. NFS share have r/w and root access to host i mounted.
Any help? this is the first time testing Netapp Dual-protocol feature in Azure.

If you are able to map the CIFS share on Windows and add/modify files and folders, but are unable to access the share directory after mounting on Linux, there may be an issue with the NFS permissions or configuration.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the NFS export configuration: Make sure that the NFS export is configured correctly and that the correct permissions are set. You can use the showmount command on the NetApp filer to verify that the NFS export is being correctly exported.
Check the NFS client configuration: Make sure that the NFS client is configured correctly on the Linux host. You can use the showmount -e command on the Linux host to verify that the NFS export is being correctly exported.
Check the NFS mount options: Make sure that the correct NFS mount options are being used when mounting the share on the Linux host. You can try using the nolock option to see if that resolves the issue.
Check the firewall settings: Make sure that the firewall settings on the NetApp filer and the Linux host are configured correctly to allow
Issue looks to be on security style option 'ntfs' i selected wehn creating the dual protocol share. Created new Dual-protocol share, this time selected securitystyle - 'unix' and able to mount and write to share from both cifs and nfs side.

Solution: The issue seems to be related to the 'ntfs' security style option Dondeti, Mahesh selected when creating the dual protocol share. After creating a new dual-protocol share, this time selecting the 'unix' security style, Now able to mount and write to the share from both the CIFS and NFS sides s.
