Access to *.ingest.monitor.azure.com and *.ods.opinsights.azure.com URLs from a IPv6-only host are failing with error “cannot resolve URL to IP address”.
nslookup shows that the *.ingest.monitor.azure.com and *.ods.opinsights.azure.com URLs do not have IPv6 addresses. They only IPv4 addresses. So, access to these URLs is working only from IPv4 hosts.
Do *.ingest.monitor.azure.com, *.ods.opinsights.azure.com URLs support access from IPv6 hosts? If not, how to access the URLs from IPv6 hosts?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.URLs only support IPv4 addresses, which is why you can't access them.
If possible, configure your network to support both IPv4 and IPv6. This way, your device can connect to any website.
You can use NAT64/DNS64 to allow IPv6 devices to translate addresses and communicate with IPv4 networks. This setting enables your device to receive IPv4 information, but you may need help to configure it properly.
Configuring a proxy server with an IPv4 route is another option. Your IPv6 device will connect to this proxy, which will then handle requests for IPv4 URLs.
You can create a tunnel that allows your IPv6 devices to connect to an IPv4 network. This usually involves the use of specific services or software.
