GPU image (preview) will no longer be supported starting 10 Jan 2025. We have AKS set up with a couple of GPU node pools. Can we continue using them without Azure support or the recommendation is to migrate to GPU images? Where in the VM SKU section is Azure flagging this as PREVIEW image? We are using Standard_NC8as_T4_v3 with Ubuntu Linux VM for our node pools and am confused what Azure means by "AKS GPU preview image".

    @Roney V

    More details about the AKS GPU preview image can be found here. This is a fully configured AKS image containing the NVIDIA device plugin for Kubernetes. The AKS GPU image is currently only available on Ubuntu 18.04. As noted in the AKS release notes you will no longer be able to create new GPU-enabled node pools with the GPU image. So existing node pools will not be deleted.

    If you are not utilizing the custom header UseGPUDedicatedVHD=true then this does not apply to you.
