When I try to print something from Outlook, the program stops responding every time.

When trying to cut and paste from Outlook to Word I get "waiting to connect to server, press esc." Can't print, can't paste and it is costing $$.

I WANT MY OLD OFFICE PROGRAM WITHOUT 365! No matter how many repairs I run, the damn Office 365 does not work!

    Hi @JOAN EHRNSTEIN

    Welcome to our forum!

Here are some suggestions you may refer to:

    • Printing Issue in Outlook

It seems like the printing issue might be related to a corrupted or missing Outlprnt file. This file stores your print settings in Outlook. Here's how you can fix it:

    1. Close Outlook.
    2. Open File Explorer and navigate to %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook.
    3. Find the Outlprnt file and rename it to Outlprnt.old.
    4. Restart Outlook and try printing again.

    • Cut and Paste Issue in Outlook

For the cut and paste issue, it might be related to clipboard settings or temporary glitches. Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Restart Outlook: Sometimes, simply restarting Outlook can resolve temporary glitches.
    2. Check Clipboard Settings: Go to the Message tab in Outlook, select Paste, and then Set Default Paste. Ensure that the settings are configured correctly.User's image
    3. Disable Add-ins: Sometimes, add-ins can interfere with clipboard operations. Try disabling all add-ins and see if the issue persists.
    • Reverting to an Older Version of Office

If you prefer to use an older version of Office, you can uninstall Office 365 and install the version you prefer. However, keep in mind that older versions might not have the latest features and security updates.
