Index from language service not showing up in Azure Open ai's bring your own data

Hi , I began by creating a Language Service and then deployed the azure ai search service in the same region as Language Service.

Next, I headed to the Language Studio to create a project using the same language resource and service as mentioned above .

After the project is created and the qna is generated , I thought of connecting it to the Azure Open AI.

Hence in the Azure OpenAI studio, after setting the correct subscription and choosing the option bring your own data, on the Home , I chose the Add data source.

For the data source , I picked the Azure AI Search. Now the search as above is not getting displayed!!

The other subscription's search service is getting displayed.

I have verified and cross-checked the source, subscription, region and all the related resources, even the search service I am using with my language service as above i have synced the keys also and it does have the indexes as well.

Hence my question is - Why can't I see my azure search service of the azure Open AI add data source option, when the search, language and azure Open Ai belong to the same region and the same resource group?

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and glad to hear you’re working with Azure AI Search. Since I was able to connect to the Azure AI Search service successfully.

    When using an existing Azure AI Search index with Azure OpenAI, ensure that the index has at least one searchable field and set the CORS Allow Origin Type option to all and the Allowed origins option to *. This can help improve the visibility of your search service. For more info, please refer to: Supported data sources.

    Also, you can do some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

    1. Check Permissions: Ensure your Azure OpenAI instance has the necessary permissions for Azure AI Search.
    2. Recreate the Search Service: Consider deleting and recreating your Azure AI Search service in the same resource group and region.
