Hello,
I have been using OneDrive to embed images into my personal website/blog without any issues until recently. However, starting from 09-11, none of the embedded images are loading, and I consistently encounter errors. Here are the details:
1.Symptoms:
- Embedded images fail to display on my website.
- Accessing the image source URL directly in a web browser results in the following message:
- "This item cannot be loaded right now."
- The browser console logs the following errors:
ApiError: Unacceptable or no response. at t.Tt (odcserviceworker.js:91:29607) at new t (odcserviceworker.js:91:29902) at odcserviceworker.js:91:97973
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (embedservererror.aspx)
2.Current Behavior:
- All the images in my OneDrive are in "shared" status.
- No changes were made to the sharing permissions or embed configurations before the issue started.
- The issue affects all embedded images, regardless of file type or size.
*Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Confirmed that all image links are correctly shared and unchanged.
- Tested the links in multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and on different networks—issue persists.
- Cleared browser cache and cookies—no improvement.
- Verified OneDrive account status—there are no apparent restrictions or notifications.
Could you please help diagnose this issue? Specifically:
- Are there any recent changes to OneDrive's embedding policies or API that could affect embedded images?
- Could this be related to an account-specific restriction, and if so, how can it be resolved?
- Are there server-side issues currently affecting OneDrive's embedding functionality?
Your guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Seyun Song
