When I start the IEChooser F12 tool, in the Network section I find this message: The network collector cannot be started. How to fix?

Hi everyone,

when I start IEChooser F12 to debug pages in internet explorer mode, I get the following warning in the "network" section: It is not possible to start the network collector.

I tried restoring Edge and changing the compatibility in the emulation section, but nothing. What needs to be done? Thank you

Hi @Mattia.exe ,

Please open the Command Prompt (cmd) as administrator and enter the following command to fix the network tab:

sc config diagnosticshub.standardcollector.service start=demand

The cause is Microsoft (R) Diagnostics Hub Standard Collector Service has been disabled. Simply put, the command above helps to enable that service.

i followed the guide. The command sc config diagnosticshub.standardcollector.service start=demand has enabled the service, but the tab network still does not work. What can i do? thank you.

Hi @Mattia.exe ,

Could you please go to Run (Win+R) and enter services.msc to open Services? Look for Microsoft (R) Diagnostics Hub Standard Collector Service and check if it is disabled. If it is disabled, please set it to Automatic or Manual.

Hi, Same problem. Command, SFC or services.msc didn´t work. Service not exist on services.msc.

I tried to follow your step but probably the service was deleted with the last windows update. I work with Win 11 pro and now the service doens't exist.

Hi @Mattia.exe,

I'm not quite sure why Win 11 Pro does not have that service installed. Maybe this service is not installed by default, or you have unintentionally removed it. Adding Windows 11 tag to wait for experts in Windows to answer this particular question. But anyway, once you have this service installed, you can follow my instructions to fix Network tool.
