Connect SQL Flexible Server with private IP address.

I have deployed a MySQL Flexible Server and initially configured it with public access, which allowed me to connect successfully. I then set up a private endpoint to connect the server within a private network. However, when I disable public access in the Networking blade, the private endpoint configuration also gets disabled. Could anyone please guide me on how to connect the server within the private network?

Hmm, private endpoint configuration still should remain, if you do a nslookup, what IP do you get? and do you have a DNS zone for your private endpoint resource configured.

I have configured private DNS zone, when I do nslookup while disabling Public access, I get 2 IP address, one is the Private DNS zone another one is of SQL Server.

The above issue is resolved by following this article for the configuration https://zcusa.951200.xyz/en-us/azure/mysql/flexible-server/how-to-networking-private-link-portal, apart form this we have made some changes in Virtual network link, like enabling auto registration. Now we able to connect the SQL Server using VPN but we are connecting to it using private Ip address.

We want to connect the server using FQDN but we are unable to connect, please help me out in this.
