Yes, it is possible to install a Windows Active Directory (AD) server using the free trial of Windows Server 2022. Please follow the documentation to set up the Windows AD Server 2022 procedure. This will include Windows Server 16, Windows Server 19, Windows Server 22, and Windows Server 25 also.
