Why if we connect to the azure VM using bastion always get error login failed, but if remote using RDP with same credentials, we able to login.

Can you please provide more information on this?

Is this happening with only one VM?

or Multiple VMs in the same subnet/VNet?

Are you having any NSGs in this "VM" ?

Is this NSG blocking network traffic from AzureBastionSubnet range?

Are you having any local firewall in the OS of this "VM"

If so, is this blocking network traffic from AzureBastionSubnet range?

Are you having an NSG in the AzureBastionSubnet?

If so, is this blocking network traffic from AzureBastionSubnet range? No

Are you having an NSG in the AzureBastionSubnet? No

I think the issue not relate to NSG since the error contain login failed.

May I ask the method you are using to login? Is it Microsoft Entra sign-in method?

If so,

See : Required roles

Can you make sure all the above requirements are met and the user has the permissions?
