Can't share a google agenda in outlook classic

I was having the same qustion as in this thread. But it is closed for reply.

Trying to follow the instruction of the moderator but the problem is the "new" button is greyed out in my configuration.

I failed to upload a picture but it is the new button in

Files > Acc. settings > acc. settings > inyternetagendas tab > "new button"

Hi

I hav tried this but got following message after inserting the Googgle agenda link.

"Can't add agenda, try later again"

(it is in Dutch as my windows is in Dutch)

When trying this in the outlook app on my phone it does work.

Hi

Well, the issue is not resolved.

I can add an external internetagenda, but always when I do I get the following message:

"Can't add agenda, try later again"

I don't know what the issue is.

Adding this agenda in the app on the phone works. But my question is to add it to the Outlook Classic app on the desktop.

Why am I getting theis messag?

Based on the image you provided, it appears that you have created an empty profile, and it is recommended that you add your account to it and try to subscribe to Google Calendar again.

Hi

It is a new internet agenda I am trying to insert.

It is a link to a google agenda link i want to see.

I also tried the aadd agenda>from internet>insert link

Then I get message "Can't add agenda, try later again"

Thanks for your response and sorry for my misunderstanding.

It seems that the button is grey by default, however, you may go to your calendar, click Add calendar>From Internet and the paste the link. Hope it helps.

Thanks for your detailed case description.

Here are a few potential solutions you can try:

Disable Shared Calendar Improvements: This feature can sometimes cause issues. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings>select your account, Change>More Settings > Advanced >uncheck Turn on shared calendar improvements (preview).

Add Calendar via Web: As a workaround, you can add the calendar through the Outlook web app. Once added, it should sync and appear in your desktop app.
