Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

I have a PowerPoint document stored in a Team. I add a comment. I expect to be able to mention guest members of the team. Actually when I type @ a dropdown box appears that does not have the names of guest members of the team.

I have verified that the users that I expect to appear in the dropdown have access to the document.

Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038 It sounds like you're trying to mention guest members in comments within a PowerPoint document stored in Microsoft Teams, but their names aren't showing up in the dropdown list when you type "@". This can be due to a few reasons:

    1. Permissions: While guests may have access to the document, they might not have full permissions to be mentioned in comments. Ensure that the permissions are set correctly for guest members.
    2. PowerPoint Online vs. Desktop: The ability to mention users might work differently in PowerPoint Online (through your browser) versus the desktop application. Try using the PowerPoint Online version to see if it makes a difference.
    3. Teams Settings: Check the settings within your Teams environment. Sometimes, certain permissions or features for guest users might be restricted as part of your organization's policy.
    4. Update Applications: Ensure that both your Teams and PowerPoint applications are updated to the latest versions. Sometimes, features are not available in older versions.
    5. Guest Users' Status: Verify that the guest users have accepted their invitations and are fully active within the team. Sometimes, pending invitations or incomplete setups can cause issues.
