    Hello!

Regarding the msedgewebview2.exe error you encountered, here are some information and suggestions to help you understand and deal with this problem.

    1. About msedgewebview2.exe

msedgewebview2.exe is part of Microsoft Edge WebView2, which allows developers to embed web content in their applications. This process is usually associated with applications that use the Edge browser.

    1. Error information analysis

Exception code 0xc0000005: This error usually indicates an access violation, meaning that the program tried to access an area of memory that was not allowed. This may be caused by software conflicts, corrupted files, or other system problems.

Timestamp: The timestamp is the time when the file was compiled or built, usually expressed in UTC format. The "garbage" time you see may be because you try to parse it in an incorrect format. You can use some online tools or programming languages (such as Python) to convert timestamps.

    1. Delete the old msedgewebview2 folder

Can it be deleted: Before deleting any folders, it is recommended that you first confirm whether these folders are really no longer in use. Generally, it is safe to keep the latest version of WebView2, while older versions may take up space, but if you are not sure, it is best not to delete them casually.

How to delete: If you decide to delete the old folder, make sure to back up important data before deleting it, and it is best to do it in safe mode to avoid deleting files in use.

    1. Solutions to solve the error

Make sure your Microsoft Edge and WebView2 are the latest version. You can check for updates through the Microsoft Store or the update function of the Edge browser.

If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling WebView2. The latest version can be downloaded from Microsoft's official website.

Run the System File Checker tool (sfc /scannow) to repair system files that may be damaged.

    1. Other suggestions

View the Event Viewer: You can view more detailed error logs in the Windows Event Viewer, which may provide more clues.

Hope this information can help you solve the problem!

Firstly appreciate the information. However, I am not parsing anything.

    Error msedgewebview2

AFAIK UTC time coordinates are in 2400 format.

I will try to make other recommended changes you suggested. I really do not use the Edge browser. This just started the other day after a Win update.

    Thanks
