Facing issue with Domain Model explorer

Facing issue with Domain Model explorer, when i open adm file using visual studio 2019 it doesn't display Domain Model explorer tab on right side with data. It successfully opens in few workstations. I'm not sure what was the exact problem with my my machine.

May I know the version(Community, Professional, Enterprise) of Visual Studio 2019 that you are using?

I tested on my side but failed to create a sample .adm file. Some features aren't supported on Community version of VS, but are supported on Enterprise or Professional version of VS. I checked in Enterprise version of VS 2019, didn't find the explorer that you mentioned as well.

Is it possible for you to share us a sample(simple) .adm file(avoid any privacy information) to check further?

Besides, normally, if you can't find the specific explorer in Visual Studio(you can directly search key words in VS Search box, or check the View menu), either it is not supported, or you missed some components.

Hi, I'm using VS 2019 professional.

Analystics domain model explorer must show the diagram related data with drop down, instead of that it shows blank screen as mentioned red color in old screenshot. I tried from View -->

I can't share adm file, it is bit confidential.

Thanks for sharing us more details.

I double checked in my VS 2019, I didn’t see the "Analytics Domain Model Explorer" explorer in View => Other Windows menu. I also tried to create the .adm, .diagram files but still didn’t see the "Analytics Domain Model Explorer" explorer.

I noticed that this explorer option(in your screenshot) doesn’t have a corresponding icon on the left. Is it provided by some extensions maybe? Are you using any tools or extensions(Extensions => Manage Extensions)?

I tried to access the link that you shared above but it seems that there were some limits, so that I failed to access that link.

From the screenshot that you shared before, it seems that this is a third-party extension? I also tried to search in Visual Studio Marketplace but failed to find it. I guess it can be only downloaded from its official website?

Do you mean it works correctly on other machines with the same version of VS 2019 Professional?

If so, I suggest you firstly try to reinstall this extension. Make sure that the versions(VS 2019 Professional version and the extension version) are correct.

You may need to double confirm the extension installation/usage guidance. Make sure that the required components have been installed.

As, even the icon of this explorer doesn't show correctly in VS, I doubt if it is compatible with this version of VS 2019 Professional. If its official website provides the detailed installation requirements description, it will be easy to confirm and narrow down this issue.
