Excel Sheets movement

Hello,

I hope I am wording this correctly. I have an expense sheet for each month on separate sheets in Excel. I'd like them to stay separate whilst moving these sheets into a 'sub-sheet' so-to-say so I can do my 12 month sheets into one sheet for 2024, 2025, etc. That being said, my question is: Is there a way to click on a "2024" sheet to then see all my separate 12 monthly sheets?

You need to give us a little more detail. For example, if your month sheets have date in column A, explanation in column B, amount in column C, and a total for the month at the bottom of column C, what do you want to see in your 2024 sheet?

When I click on 2024, I would like it to show Jan-Dec sheets separately keeping all the details (like in your example which is actually exactly how I have it haha) still there. Kind of like putting the 12 sheets into a folder, but still through excel. If that's a feature, I'm not too sure.

A macro can simulate a slide show of multiple work sheets fairly easily.

I don't know of anything you can enter in your 2024 worksheet that will cause it to display the 12 monthly sheets.

You could copy the data from each month's worksheet to the 2024 worksheet. Put January data in columns A-C, February in columns E-G, etc. A macro could do this almost instantaneously whenever you opened the 2024 worksheet. And then it would be child's play to generate annual statistics.
