Error showing is saying that i have no quota available for the selected region that my quota is 0 i have azure for student subscription sso i cannot request quota increase how do i get this fixed as a student account should have some quota for Vcpu right as i still have 99$ credits and i have tried different regions and same issue persists and i have no Vcpu currently in use and i havent used any thing before either.

    Hi Harris Bashir,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Free Trial subscriptions aren't eligible for limit or quota increases. If you have a Free Trial subscription, you can upgrade to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription. Hi Harris Bashir,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform! Thank you for asking your question here.

As mentioned by Shikha Ghildiyal, Free Trial Subscriptions are not eligible for limit or quota increase and you can upgrade to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.

I would like to explain you what the error actually means and quota limitations for Azure for Students subscription.
The error indicates that your Azure for Students subscription has a quota of 0 for virtual CPUs (vCPUs) in the selected region, and you're unable to request a quota increase. This is a common issue for student accounts, as they come with specific limitations. Here’s how you can address this issue:

Understand Quota Limitations for Azure for Students

    • The Azure for Students subscription includes $100 credits and access to free-tier services, but:
      • It has restricted vCPU quotas in certain regions.
      • Some regions may have 0 allocated vCPUs by default.
      • As a student subscription, you’re typically not allowed to request a quota increase.
And you have already tried different Regions and ensured no vCPUs are currently in use. Student subscriptions often allow B-Series burstable VMs, which consume fewer vCPUs. Try selecting B1S or B1LS VMs, which are part of the free-tier offerings. Ensure you’ve selected a region with sufficient vCPU quota. Consider signing up for a Pay-As-You-Go subscription if you can verify a payment method (like a credit card).
