Where do I start with Ai Text Classification?

Good Evening.

With a previous organisation I outsourced text classification to a paid service. I now want to do this inhouse and i do not know where to start.

Please can you advise me on where to begin with what i want to acheive below?

I receive approximately 10000 distinct pieces of text per month to classify.

The texts are stored in a SQL database.

Each piece of text ranges from about 20 words to 200 words.

Each piece of text will usually contain information which can be classified with combination of 13 different tags.

I have training data ready to program a classifier.

What I want is that when a new entry in the database arrives, it goes to a classifier and it returns the tag or tags of what that text is about. The resulting tags and quantities are reviewed and displayed using PowerBi.

My expertise is in the identification of what the texts are about, rather than Azure.

Where do I start reading or getting guidance on this?

You can connect SQL table through PowerBI and Run a power query to load the load and custom function to run prediction on target text column. Below are steps. Step 0: Create a custom classification model and deploy it as a endpoint.

Step 1: Connect to Your Data Source

First, connect to your data source (e.g., SQL database, CSV file, etc.) in Power BI or Excel.

Step 2: Load Data into Power Query Editor

Get Data: Click on Get Data and select your data source.

Load Data: Select the table containing the text data you want to classify and click Load.

Step 3: Create a Custom Function for Classification

You need to create a custom function in Power Query that sends the text to your classification endpoint and retrieves the tags.
