ONEDRIVE uninstalled, windows still uses onedrive path to save Folder Directory. Programs like Snipping Tool, Screenshots, Audio Design Plugins and other programs recreating ONEDRIVE Folders

The Major problem with this method... I uninstalled OneDrive.

I use AUDIO DESIGN SOFTWARE, GAME ENGINES, and 3D MODELING SOFTWARE

the plugins, scripts, VSTs, program dependencies automatically store in ONEDRIVE.

These programs now rely on storing the installation file paths and operational file directories linked to ONEDRIVE > DOCUMENTS, even after uninstallation of OneDrive.

This is a major issue. I do not want to lose all of my projects by deleting or relocating the path of the plugins folders but the Plugins themselves there is no option to change the directory path, so my Video Game Development projects and audio design software plugins wont recognize the Instruments I made and wipe the plugins from the system that are licenced on my computer if I use OneDrive to relocate the paths, then cannot change the paths within the Plugins themselves.

Will modifying the registry entries ensure that it relocates the ONEDRIVE paths being called upon by programs from %User\OneDrive to %UserProfile?

When I right click one drive folder Documents / Pictures / Desktop and go to Location, Reset Default, I get an error.

  Additionally, Using Snipping tool, it is supposed to save in a folder I Force it to save.

Screenshots are saved to...

C:\Users\Pictures\Screenshots will not work!

I change it and it reverts back to

C:\Users\bhart\OneDrive\Pictures\Screenshots

If someone can verify that changing the registry will solve this issue, please let me know.

It still shows the one drive path even after unlinking and uninstalling.

I have uninstalled OneDrive. Now OneDrive Will not OPEN after installation. It creates a shortcut, but does not show a cloud in the taskbar. When I try to open it, it will not open, nothing happens.

It creates a %userprofile% in the downloads folder.

Then I am sure like every virus attack and Trojan in the registry, it still runs services but is creating another USER DIRECTORY!

This is the absolute most infuriating virus I cannot get rid of and have been attempting since 2023 every single day I battle this stupid virus. I did a Clean install of windows Countless times, lost all of my data, and still there are no answers online for this issue.
